Delicious Pancakes and its Different Types
Delicious and yummy Pancakes are soft, tender and Sweet or sour flat cake. Its shape and structure vary worldwide. In some parts of the world, this food served for breakfast. But in some places, people prefer to eat pancakes at the lunch menu and in countries people like it to eat at dinner.
On the basis of eating time the shapes and sizes vary. I am going to share some information about the different types of delicious and yummy pancakes, in countries’ perspectives.

1.America -North America and South America
Let’s start with the varieties of pancakes eaten in America. America is a big country. One is North America and the other one is South America.
In South America, Brazil, it’s a staple food item. Pancake is generally made from cow’s milk, sugar, and refined wheat flour. Sometimes they use salt instead of sugar and are eaten with fillings as rolls. They use shredded or seasoned chicken breast with tomato paste/sauce, and ground beef, seasoned with fried onion cubes or fried salted smashed garlic, and bell peppers and tomato paste/sauce as a filling. Pancakes are generally topped with Parmesan cheese.
The exotic Brazilian pancakes are made from Coconut milk and Puba( a Paste extracted from cassava root.

But in Colombia and Venezuela people prefer to eat corn pancakes.they use corn as their main ingredient ,Sugar or salt and butter or oil.

In North America, different types of pancakes are popular. The people of Costa Rica prefers to eat corn-based pancakes. It is called as chorreada. Its ingredients are corn, flour, eggs, sugar , milk, and butter. It can be sweet or salty as per taste.

In Mexico, pancakes are called as hotcakes. Hotcakes are one of the most popular breakfast food in Mexico. As a topping, they use jam, condensed milk, or fruit. The main ingredients are cornmeal, sour milk, eggs, soda, baking powder, melted butter, and sugar.

In Guatemala pancake is called as Panqueques.It can be fluffy or crepe as per the choice.It is made from flour,eggs,sugar and butter.

The United States is famous for its pancakes as a breakfast item. They use flour, eggs, milk, and butter as a base ingredient. For topping maple syrup is popular. They also use fruits, nuts, peanut butter, and sugar.

In Canada people loves to eat American pancakes. The basic ingredients are the same as American pancakes but they also use cinnamon, nutmeg, buttermilk, vanilla, and choco chips on special occasions.
2.Australia
In Australia people prefers to eat pancakes either in the morning at a time of breakfast or at afternoon tea. They called it Pikelets.
The pancakes making ingredients are milk, self-raising flour, eggs, and sugar. The batter for pikelets is slightly thicker, which renders them heavy once they rise in the pan. Pikelets served with jam stopping or whipped creme. Pikelets are small in size compared to the pancakes. Kaiserschmarrn is a famous pancake recipe in Australia.

3.New Zealand
In New Zealand, thin crepe-like pancakes are popular among people. They prefer to eat pancakes in the morning time as breakfast or as a dessert. It served with butter or lemon or sugar, then rolled up.
In New Zealand American pancakes are also eaten and very famous.
