Festivals are always a good time to show love to each other; friends, family, spouses, and loved ones. It is a time of celebration with delicious traditional homemade food and most important sweets. Without sweets, any festival is just incomplete in India.
So let’s start. We will make today Crunchy oat cookies today. You can eat as snacks and also give gifts to your loved ones.

- 1cup 200gm Butter white butter
- 3/4 cup 50 gm Brown Sugar
- 1/2 100gm Granulated Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 11/2 All purpose flour
- 1teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder 2 pinch
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4teaspoon Ground Nutmeg 2 pinch
- 3 cup Old fashioned oat
- 1 cup nuts or raisine chopped

- Preheat oven at 350F temperature
- Mix all dry ingredients first in a bowl.(oat .flour .cinnamon powder ,nutmeg, baking soda etc )
Let's start the making process!
Take a bowl and put butter and sugar(brown and white both).Beat until it turns to creamy texture. Add egg to this mixture and beat well for 2 min.
Now take another bowl. Put all purpose flour, oat, cinnamon, nutmeg ,baking soda and salt and mix well. Once done add this dry mixture to the above bowl( where already butter and sugar creamy mixture is ready. Add slowly and mix with spatula.
Keep in mind that the dough should be soft. Cover dough with one dry cloth or aluminum foil. Keep in the refrigerator for 20 min.
Now heat the oven at 350 degrees.
Take a try. Spread some oil or butter on it with the help of a brush.
Now remove the dough from the freeze and make a round shape of it. Put all these round balls in try. Decorate with nuts if you want.
Bake it for 10-11 min for crunchy cookies.
After 11 min remove from the oven and let it put on cold or under fan.
